The Chicago Cubs blew 4 different leads in this game. They aren't a serious team. Feels like 2004 or 2018 all over again.

I can't believe it took you until past midnight to post this. And I also can't believe I stayed up this late just to wait for it.
Actually, I stay up past midnight virtually every night, so it's not that uncommon for me.

I hate this team.
Geeez… nice game Dansby Swanson… 0 for 6 with 3 strikeouts and an error. In the top of the 10th inning with the Cubs leading 4-3, Swanson came up with one out and a runner at third. All the Cubs needed was a deep fly ball, but instead Swanson grounds to the pitcher and Morel gets thrown out at home. A sac fly there and the Cubs go up 2 and win the game. Am I blaming only Swanson for the loss? Absolutely not! But he had an AWFUL game! He strikes out way too much… 143x this season. Why not choke up one inch with 2 strikes and hit up the middle or the other way? I just don't get these MLB hitters.
This is just painful to watch all Wildcard contention drift away….. Go Cubs!

NGL I thought we blew it on the 12th inning. I was so pissed that we couldn’t score a run in after the bases were loaded. Dbacks playoff bound. 🐍 🌵 🔥
Lol great game … Cubs should have won it a bit it's baseball and we gave them too many chances … Still I feel the cubs are a overall better team 😊

Gomes is the best clutch hitter on this team, and a great catcher. I'm just confused about why he, or any base runner under force out conditions, would be running back to the bag on a ground ball. Happ hits a ground ball down the first base line … Gomes, if he'd been on his way to second, would have made it on the fumble. At least it looks that way in the highlights.
