Unless Altuve and Alvarez come back soon, the Astros are pretty much done and dusted. Losing 3 of 4 against the team you swept in the ALDS last year is not what gets your team into the playoffs.

We need more help from our offense. We could be at least 10+ games better if we had a better offense, which puts us in 1st place in our division. But, thats the struggle in pro sports, and the struggle of being a fan😂😂.
You know its really amazing how baseball has evolved. From low paid gruffy. In your face players that played with broken fingers and many different positions to these premadonnas that get paid more than some small countries GDPs with special positions. They get hurt at the drop of a hat and sit out on lame injuries like a stiff neck that was slept on wrong. It amazes me how many key players are out on so many teams. It would be interesting to get the data on how many days of work is lost collectively by injury for the entire league. It probably ends up coming out in years. Image the value lost by the owners. Millions paid to watch the game from the dugouts or players homes.
If only they got paid for their end of the year performance instead. Im sure the injury rate would drop as well. …and the fans would get a better product.
