Seattle Mariners:
Kolten Wong needs to go. Too many defensive mistakes. And they aren't just in this game. I think that he always tries to add something to the play. Instead of playing fundamental basic, no frills baseball. That's called; "hot dog'in it". Ya… he must make the ESPN highlights, on EVERY play. The play that is a perfect illustration was….
J. P. Crawford fields a rooteen play, he throws the ball to Mr. Wong at second. For the second out. And instead of quickly throwing the ball to first for the third out. Mr. Wong fumbles the ball. The runner is safe at first, and a run scores. Also, he's constantly out of position. And opposing teams are targeting him. Ya…. It seems that the ball is always going under his glove or to the right, left or over his head. Plus his timing is off, offensively and defensively. The bottom line is…. He's a liability to this team.
Also, I'm looking at the Mariners position in the West. We are only 3 games behind the leader. Ya we got a lot of baseball to play. But the Mariners must address Wong and Flexen.
