  1. Watching Nick C. with two strikes reminds me of Ryan Howard. Everyone knows but them that the pitcher is going to throw low and outside to get them out. Seriously, the team gives you a 6 to 1 lead and the pitchers can't hold it. Sigh.

  2. You can tell the fans are really starting to believe in those kids. They see how hard they fight every night. Win or lose, they play damn hard. Reminds me of the 2011 Nats who got hot the second half and went on a 7 year run of dominance.

  3. After he got Ruiz to pop up for the first out in the bottom of the 4th, I thought, "good, good", but NOOOOO, of course not. Once it was 6-2, in a span of FOUR pitches, FOUR, I repeat, they were losing 7-6. Castellanos also took a pitch in the same exact location, in which he hit a home run a week and a half ago.

Lorenzen gave up 5 runs in a span of 4 pitches. Trea also got a pretty hittable pitch in the 7th, the first pitch.

  4. 2, actually 3 other things were really ashame. They go hand in hand

The fact that the hit by Thomas in the bottom of the 6th came with 2 outs and 2 strikes, and it wasn't a horrible pitch, either. If the Nationals don't score in that inning, the home run by Schwarber in the 9th would have tied the game. As it was, it's really ashame that there wasn't a baserunner on when he hit the home run in the 9th. If there was, it would also have tied the game. That's all I have to say.

  5. I had a feeling Lorerenzon was going to get hammered today. He has had a lot of balls hit hard but has been lucky they have been hit to teammates in the field. Tonight his luck ran out.

  6. WoW I love them because of the Nationals now I like baseball since they won the world series in 2019 even though not all the players from that year are there anymore, the new ones also play amazing

  7. Awesome win and ultimately a series victory whilst facing some good pressure. Not relying on one player this team and sinxe the All Star Game are one of the mist winning series side in the MLB! Go Nats from Australia ⚾️🇦🇺⚾️
