Win or lose, I watch or at least try to watch all 162 Pirates games. Normally when the Pirates start doing bad it’s after the all star break, hopefully this is just an early season skid, and we can get back to winning soon.
The talent is there, but man the bullpen has been a let down the last few series. I can’t blame it all on the bullpen though because 3 runs is the most we’ve scored this month. The bats needs to come to life again. I wish Derek Shelton would start Jason Delay over Austin Hedges. Obviously he had to have had talent to make it to the show, but his .140 B.A. is just not helping this team. Castro does relatively well when he’s at second, but playing short is just not suited. Bae should be at short until Cruz returns.
Anyways, GGs O’s, and congrats to Mullins on hitting for the cycle. If I heard correctly he’s the first person to hit for the cycle against the Pirates since the 80s or something.

How long has it been since the Orioles were relevant? 10 years?? Major tip of the hat to all Orioles fans who stuck by them…hopefully the O's can keep this momentum going and be playing meaningful games in October.
