  1. I really wanted to believe Aaron Hicks could right the ship when he left New York but I was wrong. Why in the world would he hold the ball in the outfield for that long in the the 3rd. If he comes up throwing, Raley would have been canned at the plate regardless if he hits the cut or not. There are now 2 outs and the outfield can play no doubles which would prevent the Randy triple and probably saves a run. All because Aaron Hicks has no idea where he is going to throw the ball. It doesn’t matter if he knows the runner from second is trying to score, get the ball out of the outfield!!! These are the little things that coaches try and teach and this is just a great example of knowing what you are doing with the ball before it’s hit to you.
