Mets losing 5 of 6 to cellar dwellers Detroit and Colorado including 2 games with their aces pitching. Gonna be a long season for the Mets if they don't get it turned around in a hurry. Already 7 games back of Atlanta. Yikes!

How long do I have to keep saying it? The Mets are the fall team this baseball season. It should have been obvious for most with the "injury" of Diaz before the season even started, the "injury" of Verlander, the "exposion" of Scherzer, and the list goes on and on. "High profile ball players are no longer paid huge contracts to produce. They are paid to take orders. Remember, MLB is now a rigged-up bait and switch gambling business. The first month of the baseball season should tell any intelligent thinking person all they need to know. Bet on games and players at your own dumb risk. You have been forewarned.

The highlight of this 2023 season is going to be the insane celebration if this 'team' wins again. They likely will throw a parade and hand their 'players' rings for such an accomplishment. I know I am in the minority when I say this, but I think it will be sooner than most think. When the Mutts are in Chicago, look for Stevie to buy a New Years Eve party for the end of May! The Empire State Building will be lit orange and blue, the 'players' will be playing Guess Who with each other in Times Square, Alonso will be writing letters, Lindor thumbing everybody down, McNeil running from a rat, Cohen constantly screaming forcefield to Nimmo, Scherzer swearing on his kids, Verlander nowhere to be seen, Diaz jumping for joy, Keith and Blevins falling off curbs, Saberhagen bleaching the crowd, Coleman working the fireworks… my gosh what a scene it will be!
Imagine, for one second, losing to this group. I believe my rec league slow pitch softball team would embarrass them.
