(2:46) Bryan Reynolds singles to right field, scoring Liover Peguero and retaking the lead for the Pirates, 2-1.
(3:43) Gerrit Cole strikes out Ji-Hwan Bae and Ben Rortvedt throws out Liover Peguero at 2nd base.
(4:28) D.J. LeMahieu singles to center field, driving in Oswaldo Cabrera and evening the score at two apiece.
(4:44) Aaron Judge singles to center field as D.J. LeMahieu scores and gives the Yankees’ a 3-2 lead.
(5:19) Ke’Bryan Hayes singles to center field and driving in both Joshua Palacios and Ji-Hwan Bae as the Pirates re-take the lead, 5-3.
(6:30) Anthony Volpe grounds into a force out, scoring Aaron Judge and Gleyber Torres as the Yankees take a 6-5 lead.
(7:09) Oswaldo Cabrera singles on a sharp ground ball to right field, scoring Anthony Volpe and giving the Yankees a 7-5 lead.
(7:21) Alfonso Rivas grounds out to end the ballgame in a 7-5 victory for the Yankees.

As a Yankees fan, but also a cousin of Roberto Clemente, this game was bitter sweet.
Why would anyone watch this when so many Yankees are cut off on HOW THEY GOT ON BASE…. mlb is tired of NY teams I have noticed but no one is as bad as espn

Yankees only barely better than the Pirates. If the Pirates played the Yankees more, they'd be early season favorites to win their division and make the playoffs.
Game 148: The Yankees really got lucky with the throwing error at the end, haha. The Pirates had the game in the bag but just threw it away (quite literally) Prayers up to Anthony Misiewicz after taking that liner to the head, I hope he is doing well

Double-A Pirates choke big time thanks to their inability AGAIN to perform routine fundamentals. Kind of pathetic to give this game away as they did.

When Cole was coming out in the 1st, why was he holding his cap like that? Looked like he was trying to prove he had on a Yankees hat. I'm guessing he caused some kind of controversy but I didn't hear about it.

Roberto Clemente was a great baseball player and a great person. He preferred being with fans and common people rather than the rich and powerful.
