  1. To be honest I like Bo but he’s being a bit delusional. Sure his performance was great his last fight but he didn’t really prove anything but that he can wrestle really really well. Which we already know already.

  2. The reason top end wrestlers are cocky is they have trained at a different level than most people have ever experienced. That gives you confidence.

What makes Bo dangerous is he knows he’s not the best right now but he has a training system and a team behind him.

    I think he’s got a chance.

Gotta remember Randy Cotour was a wrestler and as I recall he was a better than average striker.

The true fighters learn to fight. Bo will do the same.

  3. I wonder if he's corresponded with Ben Askren.

No matter what, though, he's gotta get out of the habit of facing off and shooting. Maybe that's not a problem for him, but it is for a lot of wrestlers. Matt Hughes, as good as he was, would often get clocked with a knee because of that. DC, on the other hand, is a good example of somebody who learned to hide his shots behind strikes or as counters to strikes. And then GSP is someone who learned all of that in the other direction, going from striker to somebody who could duck under a shot and grab the back.

  4. Bo has every intangible you need to win in the fight game, which, when you couple that with his elite skills is so dangerous. Bo knows fighting, but when he says that he feels that he can beat anyone they put in front of him (I agree that eventually he will) maybe he should keep in mind his match with Gordon Ryan, who submitted him with a nifty triangle choke. And, Gordon was handicapped (no submissions by leg locks and no pulling guard).

  5. Funny comment because he couldn't compete on the world wrestling stage which is why he went to MMA. So why would he paradoxically think that he could beat the top tier fighters in a sport that he has little experience in?
