  1. Everybody is already counting Rocky out.
    “Oh, he just got lucky”
“That head kick was a fluke!”
    “He isn’t a real champion!”

Well, last time I checked as I write this, the current UFC Welterweight Champion is Leon “Rocky” Edwards.

Everyone is saying “Usman has been training harder than ever!” Yes? And? You think Edwards has been sitting on his ass reading comic books? Sorry, that’s Izzy’s thing. I guarantee you that Leon has been training harder than he ever has as well.

I also believe that Leon Edwards has the scrap, the determination, and now, the experience to fully defeat Usman and fully seat himself upon the Welterweight Throne.

And even IF Rocky loses, and that’s a BIG “if”, he will still have the prefix “Undisputed UFC Welterweight Champion of the World” before his name before every fight. Edwards will forever be the one who broke The Nigerian Nightmare’s winning streak.
Edwards kicked Usman in the head hard enough to leave the former champ flat on his back, staring at the ceiling yet seeing nothing for over 5 minutes.

And on March 18th, in his home town in front of his home crowd, I believe he will do it again and earn his first Ruby.

  2. This whole time Usman has said that the kick was a lucky shot, but one thing people forgot Edward made Usman put his head in that position by faking the punch which, makes Edward a smart fighter which makes Edward a good fighter regardless if he was losing 3 rounds he still made Usman put his head in the position of that kick. Point blank
