Why do I see so many UFC bots building Topuria up? He's fought nobody. Looking amazing versus nobodies doesnt give you any idea how good someones ground game or stand up, is. Everyone looks like a world beat versus nobodies, then those same people get starched in their first fight against someone who has an actual offense. So far we know nothing about Ilia, other than the fact he's done what 500 other fighters have done. Look invincible in his first handful of fights versus nobodies. Tomorrow will be his first fight vs an upper echelon opponent. This isnt going to be Bryce Mitchell with a fever, this is Josh Emmett.. a guy whose monstrous for the weight class, who hits like a truck. We will see how Topuria does versus a real opponent for the first time in his career. Okay so after he tools Josh in every way possible tomorrow.. then come on here like bots saying he's an elite stand up fighter as well as a ground technician.
