Nah, The UFC made a deal with Colby behind the scenes. Masvidal clearly was not clued in on this, as he is banking on being guaranteed the next title shot after his Secret Move 2.0 pans out correctly. However, Masvidal's sweetener was the huge boost n Partnership of his last UFC sponsored Promotion!
Notice how Dana's repeated out of character assurances that Colby is guaranteed the next title shot! The UFC loses major bank with both of those two being out of the picture, especially considering recent contracts given out etc. Also explains why Dana was so much on edge during the Official pre fight Press conference because of the back n forth between Holland n Masvidal.
