Leon was such a quiet, good little boy until he won the title. Now he’s from the streets, and his coach said “we from the streets” them other boys don’t have the same mentality. Obviously people from the UK have big mouths and get beat up a lot because if you were really from the streets you don’t have to keep saying it over trying to convince people. Masvidal is a real street nigga. Once Leon opened his mouth and thought he can talk to Masvidal anyway he wants and dismissed him like he was nothing. He showed Leon that you not from the streets and he doesn’t live that life. Soon as Masvidal pieced him up Leon and his whole team was yelling assault and for the police. Leon and his Coach are from the softest streets in the UK. The Uk cannot even in the slightest compare to gang culture in America and how real street niggaz and organized crime really are. UK fighters always talk a good game but when they’re in the octagon they get smashed. I want Leon to win but I think Usman will get his belt back. He’s going to make it boring af though. Toe stomps and laying on peoples back is what Usman does when he’s going against a real striker.
Since he won the belt, Leon seems very different to me. In a good sense. He opens up to the fans more, shares his thoughts on fighters and the sport. Jokes with the reporters. Almost like winning the belt gave him confidence to reveal more of his personality to the public. Love to see it. Once a champ always a champ. So win or lose tomorrow, he’ll still have that and the fans behind him.
