I played high level rugby and showed up at my university open mma event. I had never fought before and absolutely ran through a bunch of guys until i fought the best in the university, and no one came close to knocking me out. I was used to getting hit at full speed by 300lb pacific islanders. No amount of force generated from a punch scared me. I think playing rugby gives you this rhino mentality that mma doesn't – rugby is more brutal than mma. Volk has that background.
I love Yair's candidness and willingness to speak up for himself. These fn idiots wanted to talk about everything and everyone else besides him and HIS fight, HIS legacy he is trying to build.
