Didier Drogba is a legendary figure in the world of football. He is best known for his time at Chelsea, where he won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, and the UEFA Champions League. He is also remembered for his iconic penalty kick in the 2012 Champions League final, which secured Chelsea’s first ever European Cup.

Born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Drogba began his professional career with French club Le Mans in 1998. He moved to Guingamp in 2002, where he scored 17 goals in 34 appearances. This earned him a move to Marseille in 2003, where he scored 34 goals in 70 appearances. His impressive performances earned him a move to Chelsea in 2004, where he would go on to become one of the club’s greatest ever players.

At Chelsea, Drogba quickly established himself as one of the best strikers in the Premier League. He scored 157 goals in 341 appearances for the club, and was a key part of the team that won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, and the Champions League. He was also the club’s top scorer in four consecutive seasons, and was named the Premier League Player of the Year in 2010.

In 2012, Drogba left Chelsea to join Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua. He spent one season in China, scoring 8 goals in 11 appearances. He then moved to Turkish club Galatasaray in 2013, where he won the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup. He also scored the winning penalty in the 2013 Turkish Super Cup.

He left Chelsea for the second time in 2015, joining American club Montreal Impact. He spent two seasons in Montreal, scoring 23 goals in 41 appearances.

In 2018, Drogba announced his retirement from professional football. He is now an ambassador for Chelsea, and is also involved in various charitable causes. He is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and is involved in the fight against malaria in his native Ivory Coast.
