‘You can be proud of what you’ve achieved’ – Indian cricket fraternity pays tribute as showman Robin Uthappa retires from all forms of cricket

Veteran Indian batter Robin Uthappa has finally hanged up his boots in all forms of cricket. The Coorg-born right-hander had an international career of almost 16 years and now he has decided to bid adieu from the game. He was known for his unique batting style when he used to come down the track and smash the renowned speedsters like he was playing against the arm bowlers.

On the day of his retirement, the whole Indian cricketing fraternity remembered the contributions of Uthappa to team India in the time when he appeared in international cricket. This list of his colleagues and friends included the likes of senior wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik and former veteran all-rounder Irfan Pathan.
