Liverpool fans leaving their side’s 1-1 (agg 3-2) victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage clashed with supporters leaving Chelsea’s women’s Champions League tie on Wednesday evening.
The fracas occured shortly after the final whistle on both games, which simultaneously kicked off at 8pm.
Fans thought to be Reds supporters were videoed appearing to antagonise Chelsea supporters as both sets of supporters made their way to Fulham Broadway station – the Tube stop closest to Stamford Bridge.
Attendees at Liverpool’s match had been forced to change their routes from Craven Cottage due to the stadium’s closest station Putney Bridge being closed to fans looking to travel from the station between 9.15pm and 11pm.
In footage circulating on social media, some Chelsea fans appeared to taunt visiting Liverpool supporters after it appeared that some present were looking for a fight.

Several scraps between fans broke out, before a group of men and women draped in Chelsea colours stepping into the fray to break up an attack on one of their fellow supporters.
The few stewards present seemed to be slow to intervene, but the trouble was quickly dispersed as fans took it upon themselves to force the travellers back.
The lack of police in the area may have come as a surprise to some, with the two Premier League rivals scheduled to play just a mile apart from one another.
Both sets of fans had reasons for celebrations – if not the feistiness after full-time – after securing wins.
Chelsea sealed qualification to the knockout stages of Europe’s banner competition with a 2-1 victory in west London that leaves them top of Group D ahead of matchday six.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are set to contest the Blues men’s team in their second Carabao Cup final meeting in three season after Chelsea’s 6-1 rout of Middlesbrough on Tuesday evening.
