Chelsea are reportedly “in talks” to sign Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao this summer.

The Blues are actively searching to bring a new right-footed left winger to the club ahead of the 2025-26 campaign and they have identified both Garnacho and Leao as key targets, as per multiple reports.

The west London giants are in informal contact with Leao, according to CaughtOffside, while TBR Football claim that Enzo Maresca’s side remain in touch with Garnacho’s representatives.

They are both viewed as players who are capable of bolstering Chelsea’s attack, with the club unconvinced by Jadon Sancho and Mykhailo Mudryk still provisionally suspended due to a positive doping test.

Leao will reportedly be available for a fee of €75 million, while Man Utd are set to ask for a minimum of €70m in order to sanction a Garnacho sale.

According to TBR Football, the Red Devils view Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha as a “direct replacement” for Garnacho and the Brazilian’s imminent arrival will open the door for Garnacho to depart Old Trafford this summer.

Chelsea were in talks to sign Garnacho during the January transfer window, and they have been tipped to rekindle their interest once the 2024-25 campaign concludes, while Leao has been on the club’s radar for several years.
