In the presentation ceremony, Narine expressed his gratitude to the fans and the entire KKR family.
“Coming into the ground today, it felt like 2012. The feeling is overwhelming and I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift. I am enjoying my cricket at the moment – batting, bowling and fielding. What helps is when the team is winning,” said Narine after being declared the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the IPL 2024 season.
The 3-year-old scored 488 runs and picked 17 wickets to help KKR win the prestigious title.
