Speaking about the match, England, after opting to bowl first, restricted New Zealand at 207 in 48.2 overs. Partnering with Dean, she orchestrated an unbroken 130-run alliance for the seventh wicket, steering England to victory. Dean remained unbeaten on 42, but it was Jones who stole the spotlight with a heroic unbeaten knock of 92, embellished with 10 boundaries.
