Chelsea have opted to recall Andrey Santos from his loan spell at Nottingham Forest.
Santos joined the Blues from Brazilian side Vasco de Gama in January 2023 for £18million before joining Forest on loan in the recent summer window.
However, his spell in Nottingham did not as planned and, after making just two appearances for the club, has been recalled by Chelsea.
He made his first appearance in a Carabao Cup defeat to 1-0 Burnley in August 30th, where he played 90 minutes before getting substituted late in the game.
He then made his only Premier League appearance when the Reds suffered a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on October 29th.

Mail Sport recently revealed that Santos has attracted interest from Crystal Palace amid the end of his loan spell at Forest.
Roy Hodgson, meanwhile, may look to Santos as midfield cover after Cheick Doucoure suffered a ruptured achilles in November that could rule him out for the remainder of the season.
Santos, 19, can only move to another team in England, as FIFA limits clubs to just seven overseas loanees and Chelsea’s spots are already filled.
Their current loanees include Gabriel Slonina at Eupen, David Fofana at Union Berlin, Angelo Gabriel at Strasbourg, Diego Moreira at Lyon, Hakim Ziyech at Galatasaray, Kepa Arrizabalaga at Real Madrid and Romelu Lukaku at Roma.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side signed the midfielder from Vasco de Gama for £18million in January 2023, beating several other Premier League sides to the race his signature, including Manchester City and Newcastle.

The 19-year-old received his first senior cap for Brazil last year, featuring in a 2-1 defeat by Morocco back in March.
Meanwhile, Chelsea winger Alex Matos is joining Huddersfield Town on loan but Zak Sturge has been recalled from Peterborough.
The 19-year-old Norwich Academy graduate joined Chelsea in the summer and made his Premier League debut for the club, coming on in their 2-0 win against Fulham back in October.
