Tom Brady is no longer the GOAT – at least in Bad Bunny’s eyes.
The Puerto Rican artist released his new album on Friday, and in it, he claimed that Lionel Messi has taken over Brady’s mantle.
‘Ever since Messi arrived in the USA, now everybody knows who the GOAT is. It’s not Tom Brady anymore,’ said a line from his song ‘Vuelve Candy B.’
Of course, seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi has set the USA alight after debuting for Inter Miami in July.
He led the club to its first piece of silverware in the Leagues Cup, and has 11 goals in all competitions so far.

However, a muscle injury forced him to miss four games and ultimately doomed Miami’s hopes of making the postseason.
Brady, meanwhile, is a seven-time Super Bowl winner, three-time MVP and considered by many to be the greatest NFL quarterback of all time.
More recently, he’s gotten involved in Messi’s sport as a co-owner of Championship side Birmingham City.
But Brady and Messi weren’t the only sports icons who Bad Bunny mentioned in his song.
The 29-year-old also shouted out San Antonio Spurs great Tim Duncan, referencing his five championships with the franchise.
‘I’ve been at the top like Tim Duncan for five years,’ Bad Bunny said.
Messi’s Miami will wrap up their MLS season with home-and-away matchups vs. Charlotte FC.
