Cristiano Ronaldo’s son – Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr – continues to show he is following in his dad’s footsteps following his latest goal for Al Nassr’s academy team.

The 13-year-old is attempting to become a professional footballer like his superstar father and is continuing his development within the Saudi Arabian side’s youth set-up.

Ronaldo Jnr previously starred for academy teams at Manchester United and Juventus, with his dad’s move to Al Nassr in 2022 prompting him to make another club switch.

The youngster was recently in attendance to watch his father’s former employer Real Madrid beat Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final and has been succeeding on the pitch himself.

Al Nassr drew comparisons between one of Ronaldo’s recent goals and his son’s header that left the back of the net bulging.

The Portuguese veteran is renowned for being one of the greatest leapers in the game with his astonishing jump resulting in Ronaldo being one of football’s greatest-ever aerial threats. His son is showing signs of promise in that department.

Video footage shows Ronaldo Jnr hanging in the air following a corner before burying his effort with a pinpoint header into the bottom corner.

Another video of his dad scoring a similar header for Al Nassr plays alongside it and the similarities between the two goals are uncanny.

Both are then mobbed by their celebrating team-mates, while Ronaldo Snr also strikes his famous siuuu celebration after scoring.

The latest comparison comes after Ronaldo was previously recorded demonstrating his free-kick technique to his son.

That occasion saw the teenager smash a set-piece into the net during an individual training session with Ronaldo before his dad usurped him with an even better strike.
