Jude Bellingham’s remarkable rise to the top of football has been showcased in two memorable pictures taken alongside his supportive mother, Denise.

The superstar midfielder won the LaLiga title with Real Madrid – the first of his burgeoning career – this week after a 3-0 victory against Cadiz on Saturday night.

Bellingham himself was on target at the Bernabeu and Madrid’s triumph was mathematically confirmed after Barcelona slumped to a 4-2 defeat at Girona.

In just his first season at the club, the 20-year-old has scored 22 goals across all competitions and also tasted success in the Spanish Super Cup.

But despite his rapid ascent to lofty heights, Bellingham remains firmly humble.

Indeed, he has earned himself a reputation as a family man and stayed close to his roots once again after sharing a warm moment with his mum at the Bernabeu.

Standing inside an empty ground, Bellingham posed alongside one of the guiding figures of his career and posted the caption: ‘Champions of Spain. Hala Madrid.’

On social media, a Real Madrid-dedicated account struck a parallel between both ends of Bellingham’s spell in football, beginning with his youth career.

Bellingham, of course, took his first steps in the sport in Birmingham City’s academy before hurtling up the ranks and leaving for Borussia Dortmund as a club legend.

But long before this big money move, a young Bellingham, who joined the Blues from Stourbridge in 2010, also took the time to pose with his mother at St Andrew’s.

Bellingham has made no secret of the impact his mother has had over the years.

‘The role my mum is playing is massive,’ he said.

‘I think at the minute it is probably the biggest role of anyone, even probably more than my coaches and managers, to be honest.’

Dortmund paid £22million to prise Bellingham away from his boyhood side after a breakout campaign that saw the club choose to retire his No 22 shirt.

Denise followed her son to Germany and helped manage his affairs while he settled.

Bellingham can still win a sensational treble this season with Madrid just one step away from reaching the Champions League final at Wembley.
