Some of Lionel Messi’s footballing genes have clearly been inherited by his son Thiago.
The 12-year-old is the eldest of three sons of Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
He is a part of the Inter Miami academy, the club his legendary father now plays for.
And he was the star of the show as he took part in an U13 MLS Cup youth tournament.
Inter Miami beat Atlanta United 12-0 with Thiago scoring all but one of their goals.
The young attacking midfielder donned the No 10 shirt, a number synonymous with his eight-time Ballon d’Or winning dad.

Thiago has previously represented Barcelona at youth level and reportedly has a priority contract options at Argentinian side Newell’s Old Boys.
His father signed for Inter Miami in 2023, after spending the entirety of a historic career at Barcelona.
He has since contributed 34 goals and 18 assists in 39 appearances for the club. The new MLS season begins later this month.
