Luton’s 16-Year-Old Schoolboy Christian Chigozie to Feature on Bench for Premier League Clash against Arsenal at the Emirates

Sixteen-year-old defender Christian Chigozie could complete a stunning ascent up the footballing ranks after being included in Luton’s squad for their Premier League clash against Arsenal.

Chigozie began the campaign playing for the Hatters’ Under-16s but has featured regularly for older age groups, including the U18s and U21s.

The Luton-born youngster attends a school next to the training ground and will be sitting his GCSEs this summer.

According to the BBC, the club had to seek permission from his school to miss classes in order to train with the first team last week.

The Hatters posted a congratulatory message to the defender after the team news was announced on Wednesday, highlighting his history-making achievement.
