Manchester United stars have paid tribute to Lisandro Martinez by wearing special t-shirts after the news the defender has suffered a season-ending knee injury.
Martinez damaged his cruciate ligament in his left knee in Sunday’s defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
United confirmed the news earlier this week after the Argentine was stretchered off in the match.
The club have not put a timescale on Martinez’s rehabilitation, but it’s understood the 27-year-old could be out of action for up to six months.
Man United players were seen warming up for their FA Cup tie against Leicester at Old Trafford wearing t-shirts featuring the message in Spanish ‘Mucha Fuerza Licha’ – meaning ‘Lots of strength, Licha’.
