Marcus Rashford was reportedly caught speeding at over 70mph in his £560,000 Rolls-Royce, just months after he had wrecked his other luxury car in a crash in 2023.

It comes as the 26-year-old was included in Gareth Southgate’s preliminary 33-man Euro 2024 squad last week after having endured an underwhelming season with Manchester United.

According to The Sun, the forward was caught travelling down the M60 motorway in his Rolls-Royce Cullinan Blue Shadow at over 70mph in De.

The outlet adds that the Man United forward, ‘admitted the speeding offence through a single justice procedure’.

He will now have to wait to learn his fate with the English striker set to be sentenced at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on September 27.

His sentencing will come almost a year after Rashford had been left shaken, but unscathed after he had crashed his £700,000 Rolls-Royce.

The accident had taken place outside Man United’s Carrington training ground on 23 September 2023, with footage of the incident emerging on social media, showing the rear bumper of his car had been ripped off and strewn across the side of the road. Luckily, both drivers involved in the crash escaped without injury.

A YouTuber subsequently shared pictures of the damage that was done to Rashford’s Rolls-Royce after the crash.

The car appeared to be missing the front bumper, while damage had also been done to the car’s passenger-side door.

Due to the damage, it was subsequently sold on an online auction, with YouTuber Mat Armstrong purchasing it for £184,000.

Armstrong had shown off the damage the car had sustained on his YouTube channel.

Rashford owns several Rolls-Royce cars, including a £390,000 Black Badge Cullinan and his Cullinan Blue Shadow.

He also owns a £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail and a £350,000 Lamborghini Urus Performante.

After Southgate had announced his prelminary England squad last week, Rashford took to Instagram to deliver his support to the side having been left out of the squad.

He wrote: ‘Wishing Gareth and the boys all the best for the up and coming tournament.’

Speaking on his decision to exclude Rashford for the first time in England’s last three international tournaments, Southgate said: ‘These are of course difficult calls.

‘You are talking about very good players who have been important in what we’ve done over a number of years.

‘With Marcus, I just feel that other players in that area of the pitch had better seasons. It’s as simple as that.’
