Neymar has reportedly informed PSG’s management that he wants to leave the club this summer.
According to a report from L’Equipe, Neymar informed PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi of his desire for a move away from the French capital on Sunday.
The Brazil international is said to have grown unhappy at the club with the report claiming the 31-year-old is determined to seal a sensational return to Barcelona before the end of the transfer window.Â
Neymar spent four seasons at the Camp Nou, winning two La Liga titles and the Champions League before joining PSG in a world-record deal in 2017.Â
The news will serve as yet another headache for the PSG chief, with Lionel Messi having already departed this summer and Kylian Mbappe’s future at the club remaining unclear.
Mbappe is currently training away from Luis Enrique’s first team squad as he attempts to force through a move away from the Parc des Princes, with PSG determined that he will sign a new contract if he doesn’t leave this summer to avoid him leaving on a free.
