Premier League stars Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina were left stunned after discovering they had been given one bed to share at the team hotel.
The league rivals linked up with Nigeria during this week’s international break, where the Super Eagles are set to play two World Cup qualifying matches.
However upon checking into their hotel room ahead of their games against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, Fulham star Iwobi and Nottingham Forest’s Aina were left in shocked after seeing there was only one double bed in the room.
In a video shared online, Iwobi documented the hilarious discovery, saying ‘Oh my days, bro.
‘Surely this can be separated man because bro I’ll sleep on the floor.’
Despite Iwobi’s reservations, Aina found the funny side and jokingly responded in a fit of laughter: ‘Double bed. Hey, it’s started. Alex, don’t kiss me. Do not kiss me.’

Although the Premier League rivals have never played on the same team, they are close friends and grew up together, having played for England at youth level

DAina found the funny side and jokingly responded in a fit of laughter: ‘ Double bed. Hey, it’s started. Alex, don’t kiss me. Do not kiss me.’
The pairs concerns were eventually resolved, with the the Premier League rivals being gifted two single beds instead.
Since 2017, the pair have played alongside one another a total of 38 times with the Super Eagles.
And although the Premier League rivals have never played on the same team, they are close friends and grew up together, having played for England at youth level.
The room mix-up is the latest accommodation mishap to happen to the Super Eagles, following on from the shocking scenes back in October during the last international break which saw the team get stranded in an airport.
Nigeria’s players were left isolated in the airport for over 16 hours ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Libya.
The horrifying incident sparked outrage within the team, with the players deciding to boycott the match in protest, resulting in them giving away a 3-0 score line to Libya.
