Sky Sports will show every match live from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after securing the broadcast rights for in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
The broadcast agreement was announced on Monday, five days before the tournament begins in the Ivory Coast.
All 52 games will be shown Sky Sports Football or Sky Sports Mix, beginning with hosts Ivory Coast playing against Guinea-Bissau on January 13 and concluding with the final at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Abidjan, on February 11.
The matches will also be available to stream through NOW.
A number of Premier League players are taking part in the tournament, including Liverpool’s Mo Salah, Manchester United’s Andre Onana, Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, and Tottenham’s Pape Sarr.

IMG is distributing AFCON rights globally, including in the UK and Ireland, after it agreed a deal late last year.
Sky Sports also aired every match from the last edition of AFCON, which took place in 2022.
However, last time round the BBC also showed ten games live – including two quarter-finals, both semi-finals and the final, and it seems that there will be no free-to-air access for 2024.
According to the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) website, the tournament is viewed in more than 150 different countries. Viewers in the United States will be able to watch it on beIN Sports.
