Richard Keys advises Pep Guardiola to keep his emotions private, suggesting that Jack Grealish’s interaction was staged for show

Former Sky Sports host Richard Keys has accused Pep Guardiola of playing up for the cameras at the end of Sunday’s clash between his Man City team and Arsenal.

Guardiola’s men were held to a 0-0 draw by the Gunners at the Etihad, leaving Liverpool two points clear at the top of the table.

The City boss made a point of having a word with Jack Grealish at full-time, clearly unhappy with something he had seen.

And Keys, who now works for beIN Sports, believes the conversation should not have taken place on the pitch.

He said: ‘save it for the dressing room. It’s all for the cameras isn’t it. Go down the tunnel. He shouldn’t even be on the pitch.

‘Now he’s got to go and tell everybody else what they did wrong of course.’

City failed to score at home in the Premier League for the first time since October 2021.

It was a game of few clear chances with Arsenal seemingly happy to go home with a point.

Grealish came on midway through the second half but had very little impact on the game.
