Manchester United fans made themselves heard during their clash with Arsenal by continually singing one song. 

Erik ten Hag’s suffered a 1-0 defeat against the Gunners, with Leandro Trossard first half;f strike separating the two teams at Old Trafford. 

It was United’s second defeat in a weak having also lost to Crystal Palace on monday night. 

However, despite being a goal down against Mikel Arteta’s side, United fans sang one song non-stop throughout the whole second half. 

A rendition of Norman Greenbaum’s ‘spirit in the sky’ was heard from the famous Stratford End.

United had started the match brightly before Arsenal settled into it as they looked to stretch the title race into the last day of the season. 

The opening goal came when Casemiro kept Havertz on side before the German forward delivered a low cross into the box which Trossard dispatched. 

The defeat now means United are unlikely to qualify for Europe next season as they currently sith 9th, three points behind. 

Ten Hag’s side will seek to return to winning ways when they return to Old Trafford on Wednedaday to take on Newcastle.
