Taylor Swift is relieved that her and Travis Kelce were not home when the Kansas City Chiefs star’s mansion was burglarized last month, according to reports.
Kelce and Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City-based properties were both targeted by thieves in early October, TMZ Sports revealed on Tuesday.
Just hours after a break-in at Mahomes’ Missouri pad on October 6, Kelce’s lavish $6million home in Leawood, Kansas was raided on October 7 – the same day the Chiefs beat the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead while Swift watched on from the stands.
An estimated $20,000 in cash was stolen from Travis’ house, while his back door was also damaged. It is unclear if anything was taken from Mahomes’ property, with the FBI now investigating both incidents amid indications they are related to others in various jurisdictions.
According to Page Six, Swift is feeling ‘thankful’ that she and Kelce were out when his six-bedroom home was ransacked.

‘She’s thankful that no one was hurt and that neither of them were home during the robberies,’ a source close to the pop megastar is quoted as saying.
The burglary at Kelce’s property was flagged to police sometime on October 8.
An FBI spokesperson would neither confirm nor deny the existence of the reported investigations when contacted by DailyMail.com.
But their involvement in the case reportedly suggests it is not a burglary spree on a local level and instead could involve organized crime crossing state lines.
Swift was busy cheering on Kelce and Mahomes in Kansas City’s Monday Night Football showdown with New Orleans on the day her boyfriend’s home was burglarized.
In a 26-13 victory for the hosts, which maintained their unbeaten start to the season, Mahomes completed 28 of his 39 passes with 331 yards and an interception. Kelce, meanwhile, had nine catches for 70 yards.
The latter moved into his 17,000 sq. ft. Leawood estate shortly after his high-profile romance with Swift went public last year in a bid for more privacy.
DailyMail.com then revealed in November 2023 that the pop megastar had joined him in the luxury six-bed, six-bath pad.
His Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes was also the victim of a burglary just hours before

It is packed out with a Beverly Hills-style swimming pool and jacuzzi, a six-car garage, lighted tennis and pickleball court and a miniature golf course, all sprawling over three acres of heavily wooded pristine land.
The expansive grounds are complete with bridges, winding paths, a gazebo, patio and seating areas for lounging around the pool.
Sun loungers are dotted around the paved area surrounding the pool, with a dining table sitting on the patio area, while what appears to be a fire pit is located off to the side. A wide balcony is also accessible from the second floor.
Inside there is a vast chef’s kitchen to satisfy Swift’s love of homemaking and baking.
Kelce’s home is located at the end of a cul de sac in a gated community just 20 minutes from Arrowhead.
Mahomes and wife Brittany moved into their Belton mansion back in 2020. The property now includes a practice football field and a golf hole.
