Kansas City Chiefs make final decision on Super Bowl winner Charles Omenihu

The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly re-signed Super Bowl winner Charles Omenihu to a 1-year, $7million contract.

Omenihu continues the immediate rebuild in Kansas City after the team lost the Super Bowl last month to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Omenihu will play for his third season with the Chiefs after coming to the team in 2023 from the San Francisco 49ers, per ESPN.

In six NFL seasons, Omenihu has 19.5 sacks, with his career high for one season coming in 2023 with the Chiefs with seven.

Omenihu did not play in the Super Bowl the Chiefs won with him on the roster, as he tore his ACL in the AFC Championship win over the Baltimore Ravens.
