There is more bad news for injured Minnesota Vikings rookie JJ McCarthy.
The first-year quarterback had a second knee surgery on his right knee to address swelling that occurred during his ongoing rehab, according to ESPN’s Kevin Seifert.
He received a biologic injection as part of the procedure.
The good news for Vikings fans is that McCarthy’s timetable for his return remains unchanged, although it’s unclear when he will be able to resume rehab following the second procedure.
