Rangers goalkeeper Liam Kelly admits the axe is hanging over the entire squad ahead of what is expected to be a major summer clearout.
Kelly didnât hold back in the aftermath of Saturdayâs 2-2 draw at St Mirren â hitting out at the âempty wordsâ which have defined another season of failure.
After watching his team twice throw away the lead with another poor performance, Rangers interim boss Barry Ferguson was also unsparing in his assessment.
Ferguson admits the Ibrox club have lost their âfear factorâ â and made it clear that players are now playing for their future.
Kelly believes nobody at the club can consider themselves safe ahead of a huge summer rebuild, if and when the US takeover deal is completed.

Asked whether the wholesale changes offer hope for the future, he replied: âI wouldnât say hope. Itâs just reality, isnât it? Itâs just whatâs needed.
âWeâve obviously not been good enough this season to win any trophy. We canât have any complaints because weâve not been good enough.
âWe need to just deal with it, get on with it, try our very best to improve and give our absolute all in these last four games.
âIf we come up short through technical mistakes, then fair enough. But the least we can do is give our all to the supporters.â
Kelly didnât mince his words when asked to reflect on Saturdayâs performance and, more broadly, on the season as a whole.
âWe were desperate to win the game,â said the Scotland squad keeper, who has replaced Jack Butland for Rangers over recent weeks.
âGo ahead twice, and then just sloppy. Give away two terrible goals. Not good enough going forward collectively, not good enough going backwards collectively.
âListen, itâs the same all the time, isnât it? Itâs the same story again. So Iâm not going to sit here and bore anybody.
âWe werenât good enough, we didnât deserve to win the game. Again, nowhere near good enough for what our fans expect and the level thatâs needed for this club.
âObviously we can still hurt teams. Weâve shown that in certain games. Even in big, big games weâve shown we can hurt teams.
âBut it doesnât matter what I say. Youâve heard the same things the whole season. Itâs all empty words.
âNo matter what you say, it just seems to happen every week. No matter how aggressive or how angry people get in the building or after games, it needs to change.
âThere needs to be massive changes for us to improve as a team.â
