Real Madrid debuted in LaLiga by bringing home the first three points from San Mamés. Carlo Ancelotti’s team consecutively scored two goals in a great first half, The first came in minute 28 and was the work of Rodrygo Goes with a powerful shot inside the area. The second, eight minutes later, was put away by Jude Bellingham.

    The profile of the player Modric was already at the end of 2000s was something that was missing at that time to the team full of star players like Ronaldo, Kaka, Di Maria, Ozil etc. They were never on the path of becoming what they became with Modric, and of course Kroos and Ancellotti. I strongly felt that what was needed was Modrics elegance, magic and overall playing intelligence (including defensive one, which was rarely recognized by the wider public as well as many experts); his versatility and capability executing different solutions in the buildup of the offensive play – long through balls, intelligent short passes, dribbling through the middle to bring the ball closer to the opponents third… many things that Ozil lacked despite his world class contribution in the direct counter attacking style of Mourinho, especially ball crossing to Ronaldo and Benzema/Higuain.
    Mourinho adored Modric but his system was limiting to Modrics capabilities, and more adapted to Ozils talents, who was his primary decision maker. No wonder Modric was proclaimed the top flop in his first La Liga season.
    I felt that Mourinho has to leave for Real to start playing with more fluency. Goalscoring records were not enough.
    Ancellottis system perfectly exploitrd all that Modric could offer. Di Maria also flourished in his new role in the midfield, running through it with the ball or playing one-twos with Modric and Xabi Alonso. Kross just brought it to the next level and Casemiro released significant pressure from the golden midfield duo in defensive phase of play.

    Today, it would be fair to say that Ancellotti, Modric and Kroos deserve to be crowned as one of the most renowned kings in the history of Real Madrid.
    Today, it would be fair to say that it is time for new boys to step up and take respinsibility under the auspices of aforementioned greats. Raul or Xabi Alonso or even Zidane again as managing forces; Valverde, Bellingham, Tchouameni and Camavinga as new midfield pillars of the Real Madrid midfield stronghold.

    Looks like the games fixed. The first goal, the athletic defender just raised his hands and let the madrid player score, the second goal the athletic gk just let the ball go over him .

    Personalmente me encanta la filosofía del Athletic de Bilbao , de solo jugar jugadores vascos , tiene mucho merito . Y a mi entender tanto el Real Madrid como el F.C. Barcelona también podrían hacerlo . Hemos de recordar que en la época Guardiola de tantos éxitos habían muchos jugadores de la cantera e eso mismo también ha sucedido con el Madrid . Quizás la diferencia es que al Athletic no tiene la presión de los equipos como el Barcelona e Madrid que se les exigen títulos e ver al terreno de juego figuras mundiales del fútbol , bien es solo una opinión cada cual tiene sus preferencias .

    Bellingham really reminds me the style of great Zidane, kind of a modern version of him.

    His technical ability is mad and that goal he scored knew he would score it off the bounce definitely has potential to be one of the best
