Cooper was dealt away from the 1-5 Cleveland squad on Tuesday.

And the following day, he appeared to take a shot at his now ex-franchise, writing ‘Move or rust’ on his Instagram story.

Fans interpreted the message to mean that he needed to leave the Browns for the betterment of his career.

‘Thank you Amari ! I am a Browns and Cowboys fan. It’s probably the best thing that happened to you,’ one wrote on X. ‘You are able to get away from this train and go after a championship now. Good luck.

Another said, ‘Good luck in Buffalo, he was wasting his career in CLE. Finally a solid QB… he won’t have anymore drops this season. The Browns treated him like s**t since camp… he’s a fortunate one who made it out of the s**tstorm and gets to play real football again.’

Cooper now joins a 4-2 Bills squad with realistic hopes of winning a Super Bowl behind quarterback Josh Allen.

The wideout made the playoffs with Cleveland last year but has never been past the divisional round (with the Cowboys) in his career.

As noted by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Cooper – who was landed in exchange for a third-round pick and late-round pick swap – will cost the Bills about just $800k this season.

The Browns previously converted his $18.79million in salary for this season into a signing bonus.

Additionally, the Bills were reportedly interested in Davante Adams, who ultimately reunited with his good friend Aaron Rodgers on the Jets.
