A podcaster has claimed Travis Kelce once tried to fight him in a bar in Nashville after he criticized the Chiefs star for his running style.
Speaking on an episode of AUDIOCRAIC this week, Barstool Sports personality ‘Billy Football’ reflected on the incident.
He criticized Kelce in June 2023 during an appearance on a Barstool episode but told the Chiefs player to his face, with Kelce appearing to take it in good faith.
Now, though, he claims the Super Bowl winner later confronted him in a Tennessee bar.
‘He was in the bar and he was like “yo, dude, I can’t believe you think I’m a f***ing pussy, f*** you”,’ Billy claimed.

Back in June last year, Kelce was told by Billy Football: ‘I have been a bit of a critic, I’ll put that out there. Huge fan of your route running, still truth, I just think you could be a little more… you could end a couple of those and run someone over. Be a little more physical.
‘Crafty, (but) I think you could run someone over. I think it’s because you can, but you don’t.’
Kelce appeared to take the viewpoint well, responding: ‘I hear you. I mean, what you’re saying isn’t wrong – there are times I turn on the film and I think “that was soft”. I am my own worse critic.
‘But there are times when I stick my f***ing face in the fan. You can’t say it is every time.’
Speaking on the podcast this week, Billy said that Kelce’s style has contributed to him maintaining such a high standard at age 35.
‘He’s not trying to run guys over… he kind of avoids contact which is why his career has spanned so well. You know, rock brain – ‘you’re playing like a p***y’ – or you’re making way more money and you’re like a global superstar.
‘There’s positives and negatives, and now you have Taylor Swift. Shoutout Travis Kelce.’

Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner, signed a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs in the recent offseason that will keep him in Kansas City until the end of next season.
