NFL star Jamal Adams is being released by the Tennessee Titans, according to reports.
Adams, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, had requested to be released from the franchise which he only joined this past offseason.
Adams had played in just three games for the Titans, and was on the field for just a total of 20 snaps after missing part of training camp with a hip injury.
Adams confirmed to ESPN that he wanted to be able to ‘contribute’ with more playing time, while noting that he wasn’t frustrated about not being a starter.
The Titans, meanwhile, reportedly viewed his lack of practice time as an issue after his missed time in training camp.
