Mahmudullah emerged as the standout performer for the hosts, smashing 54 runs off 44 deliveries, ably supported by Najmul Hossain Shanto (36 runs off 28 balls) and Jaker Ali Anik (24 runs off 11 balls). However, Zimbabwe’s bowlers, led by Blessing Muzarabani (2 wickets for 22 runs) and Brian Bennett (2 wickets for 20 runs), kept the scoring in check.

Despite a valiant effort by Bangladesh’s bowlers, Zimbabwe’s batsmen dominated the proceedings, securing an emphatic eight-wicket win.
