PSG ultras have been spotted descending on north London ahead of their side’s clash with Arsenal on Tuesday.

Les Parisiens made their way to the Emirates having enjoyed an unbeaten start to the campaign despite losing star striker Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid this summer.

In their European opener Luis Enrique’s side defeated Champions League newcomers Girona at the Parc des Princes courtesy of a stoppage-time own-goal from former Spurs goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.

Hours before their first away game in the competition a sizeable group of travelling supporters were filmed massed in Highbury Fields, a short walk from the Emirates Stadium.

Backed by the banging of a drum, the fans marched through the historic open space whilst singing club songs.

The group chanted club songs and lit numerous flares as they made their way through

Another clip saw the group light several flares as police guided them towards the stadium.

The images may cause concern to some following incidents of violence involving PSG fans when Newcastle travelled to the French capital in November of last year.

Videos surfaced on social media of Newcastle fans trying to blockade doors as flares and chairs were being thrown by the French side’s ultras, after they had located where English fans were gathering 24 hours before the game.

Like their opponents for tonight’s showdown, Mikel Arteta’s side are also yet to taste defeat this season and currently sit third in the Premier League, one point behind leaders Liverpool.

Away at Serie A side Atalanta in their Champions League opener last month, the Gunners could only manage a point after being held to a goalless draw at the Gewiss Stadium.
