Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been ruled out of their game on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Richardson was a limited participant in practice all week after sustaining an oblique injury in the Colts’ 27-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday.

It’s the 14th game missed in two seasons for Richardson, who left last week’s win against Pittsburgh twice.

He first got hit hard on his right hip during a designed run and again three plays later when he appeared to take another big shot.

Veteran Joe Flacco, 39, will make his first start of the season against the winless Jaguars.

The Colts also will be without running back Jonathan Taylor and center Ryan Kelly.

Taylor did not participate in practice this week after sustaining an ankle injury against the Steelers. Taylor had 108 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown before exiting during the fourth quarter.

Taylor leads the Colts in carries, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

Richardson is second on the team in carries and rushing yards. Richardson and Trey Sermon each have one rushing score.
