Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have kept a low profile for the ins and outs of their love life for how large their presence is in everyday life, combining the worlds of the NFL and the 14-time Grammy winner.
Kelce’s best friend and clothing-brand owner, Aric Jones, has given a rare insight into the Chiefs star’s romance with the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer, calling Swift ‘family.’
Jones owns Homebred Legends, with the name having ties to Kelce’s hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Kelce’s relationship with Swift has also made her close with Jones, much like Swift’s friendship with Brittany Mahomes.
‘She has stuff, of course. Why wouldn’t she? That’s family. Once you’re in the family, you’re fully engraved in this anyway,’ Jones told PEOPLE of Swift. ‘So it’s like, why not do that for the people that you care the most about? It’s an honor.’

Jones also spoke on his friendship with Kelce, which may give important context to Swift’s interactions with him behind closed doors.
‘I think the greatest thing about Travis is his gravitational force that he has to just pull everybody in.’
‘And his superpower is — and his mom (Donna Kelce) said it one time and it completely resonated with me — is that when he’s talking to somebody, he makes that person feel like they’re the only person in the room. Everybody feels that Travis is their homeboy.’
Kelce and Swift have been dating for over a year publicly ever since she attended a game against the Chicago Bears last September.
The Chiefs are 13-3 with Swift in attendance, including 3-0 this season, with the ‘Eras Tour’ singer finding a spot in a luxury suite for each of Kansas City’s home games.
Swift was in attendance for each of the Chiefs’ playoff victories last season, each taking place in a different city.
It was for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas where Swift hastily flew back from the Japanese leg of her stadium tour to be at Allegiant Stadium for Kansas City’s second-consecutive championship victory.
Swift will not be in attendance at the Chiefs’ road game on Sunday against San Francisco, as the last of her three Miami stadium shows will be taking place that day.
