LA Rams Lineman’s Playbook Stolen; Cops Investigate

admin

Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Conor McDermott has reportedly his team-issued iPad stolen from his car this week, which includes the team’s playbook and footage to review.

McDermott’s iPad was allegedly stolen from a residential area where his car was parked, with local law enforcement now investigating the situation.

No arrests have been made in the case, per TMZ.

McDermott has been in the NFL since 2017, where he previously played for every team in the AFC East except for the Miami Dolphins before joining the Rams.

His tenures with the Jets, Patriots, and Bills last from 2017-2023 before he joined the Rams earlier this year.

Whoever stole McDermott’s iPad will not be able to see any of the team’s future plans, as the Rams can easily wipe the memory from the device remotely.

There is no reason to believe another NFL team tried to steal the device to gain a competitive advantage.

The Rams have had a disappointing start to their 2024 season, sitting at 1-4 heading into their bye week.

Los Angeles has the second-worst record in the NFC, only better than the Carolina Panthers.

The Rams are also one of six NFL teams with only one victory, joining the AFC’s Titans, Jaguars, Patriots, and Browns.

McDermott’s fame skyrocketed after he caught a touchdown during a 2021 game for the Jets against the Jaguars, his only career reception.

McDermott was only signed by the Rams on August 6 and placed on injured reserved on August 28. He has yet to play in a game this season.
