The condition of a man working on the sidelines who was injured in a collision with Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has now been revealed.

The incident occurred in the first half of Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans – with the worker being identified as Brian Robb.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, a spokesperson for the team confirmed that Robb broke his leg in the incident, and had surgery to repair the damage on Tuesday. He is expected to make a full recovery.

According to Titans reporter Jim Wyatt, Levis said that he spoke to Robb after the incident and wished him a speedy recovery.

Levis received backlash from the incident after he got up from the collision without checking on Robb in the heat of the moment.

Levis was trying to run for a first down early in the Titans’ game against the Colts, but in the process he reached the sideline sprinting as fast as he could.

Unable to slow himself down, Levis clattered into Robb, who then hit the turf hard and was left rolling around in pain.

Levis was fine and got up quickly, but rather than checking on the welfare of Robb, he strolled back onto the field to continue the game – while the worker clutched at his ankle and rolled around.

The worrying moment quickly went viral on social media, as fans speculated over Robb’s health, and slammed Levis for his actions.

‘Prayers up to the ball boy,’ one wrote, while another said: ‘Oh man. Hope this chain gang member is OK.’

Another wrote: ‘Not a good look here for Will Levis. Literally steamrolls over a sideline worker, and doesn’t even check to see if he’s alright.’

A fourth X user noted: ‘No respect for Will Levis after taking out a sideline staffer on the Indianapolis sideline and not as much as an acknowledgment to the injured worker!’
