Juventus eyeing Man United outcast Greenwood

Juventus have expressed firm interest in Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood.

United want to sell the 22-year old this summer and value him around £40million as they look to raise funds for Erik ten Hag’s transfer kitty.

Napoli have also enquired after the England international who was on loan at Getafe last season where he scored ten goals in 36 appearances.

The forward was shipped out from Old Trafford on that temporary spell after it was mutually agreed he would play no further role with the club following an internal investigation.

This came after criminal allegations against him of attempted rape, assault and coercive control were dropped. The 22-year-old denied all the charges.

Juventus have just appointed Thiago Motta as their new head coach and are tweaking their squad.

They are also negotiating with Aston Villa for midfielder Douglas Luiz with Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior going the other way.

They may yet sell winger Federico Chiesa and subsequently hold an interest in United winger Jadon Sancho who is also available for £40m.
