Ali Krieger Remains in High Spirits at Celtics-Knicks Game at MSG Amid Divorce Filing from Estranged Wife and Former UWSNT Teammate Ashlyn Harris

Ali Krieger’s been spotted cheering on the New York Knicks in their first NBA game of the season, following her high-profile split from former USWNT teammate Ashlyn Harris. 

The 39-year-old, Gotham F.C. defender was in high spirits while sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden to watch New York’s season opener against the Celtics, a 108-104 loss, despite reports that her four-year marriage to Harris is ‘irretrievably broken.’

Harris – a former goalkeeper- was seen loading her luggage into a taxi on its way to Newark Airport on Monday, as she jetted out of the Big Apple. 

She was also spotted without Krieger on her birthday last week. 

Earlier this month, Krieger hinted at her estranged wife cheating on her with actress Sophia Bush, sharing on social media that she is in her ‘Beyoncé lemonade’ era.

At the ‘Mecca of basketball’ on Wednesday, Krieger sat next to Alexandria Gilleo, later sharing that she had a blast with the celebrity makeup artist on Instagram. 

‘I played AAU, so therefore I feel like I fit in very v v well here,’ she captioned her post. 

‘Thank you for an amazing time!’ 

The two-time World Cup champ’ was also seen hanging out with Whoppi Goldberg and former Knicks small forward, Carmelo Anthony. 

Fans were happy to see the 39-year-old, soccer star thriving while experiencing a challenging time in her personal life.

‘ali livin that whoopi life, ashlyn livin that whoopsie life,’ shared another. 

‘You fit in anywhere, darlin. People gravitate towards you because of your personality and positive energy,’ wrote a different fan. 

Krieger, who plans to retire after the 2022-23 NWSL season, is in line to face the Portland Thorns in the playoff semifinals at Providence Park on November 5.
