Oct. 6—CHAMPAIGN — The Danville girls tennis team finished the first day of the Big 12 Tournament in a tie for fourth after a day of all doubles matches.
Anna Houpt and Reese Rundle was third at No. 1 doubles, Maya Towne and Samantha Brown was seventh at No. 2 doubles and Lexi Foley and Aliya Morgan was fourth at No. 3 doubles.
The Vikings, who are tied with Normal West in fourth, will get a chance to get more points on Saturday with singles play.
